When traveling through eastern Kentucky and western Virginia, you see mountains. Lots and lots of mountains. Or what passes for mountains around here, anyway.

I like the symmetry of this place.

The sky was so pretty. It would have been a great drive if my air conditioner hadn't recently stopped working. That's why my window was down for the pictures.

For those of you who don't live in the south east, this is tobacco. It doesn't look very good, but that's what it looks like while growing. On the right side you can see where some of it has been cut and is impaled on tobacco sticks, waiting to be taken to the barn and hung to dry.

I have no idea what some of these flags are, but they were pretty.

Last time I drove through here there was a train on this bridge. Of course when I'm ready for the picture, no train.

I love Kentucky and was just through eastern KY, WV and VA this past spring. Great shots. Number 9 almost looks like the bridge in High Bridge, KY. Is that where it is?
